Those of us who make the Barunff share both a passion for cinema and an enthusiasm for sport. Hence the idea of organizing an event to bring together and celebrate cinema and running was born. Since 2016, the Barunff has shared inspiring stories from established athletes as well as ordinary people who run. They are all united by the same determination and the decision to never give up. In troubled times, cinema and sports are a haven where we can form bonds from empathy, solidarity, and communion with our environment. The Barunff is offered as that hostel for runners where we can recognize ourselves, relax and recharge.
The Barunff is the first Festival dedicated to running and triathlon in Latam.
It shares inspiring stories of runners who found in running a tool for their personal and collective improvement. Uniting culture and sports, the Barunff creates a meeting place for filmmakers, runners and the general public.
